My Kombucha Journey

One day about 9 years ago, my mama introduced me to kombucha. At first, I thought she was crazy and that this was just an experimental fun recipe she was trying out. Little did I know that kombucha would rule our lives from that day onwards.

 

In Plettenberg Bay, she started the business now known as Namaste Living Kombucha. It took me a while, but I soon joined in on the fun and together we grew the company to what it is today.

 

I later decided to move back to my hometown and start up my own kombucha company. Being Cape Town, I knew I had to funk it up a little. So while I sat and drank some sparkling grape juice out of a champagne bottle on the veranda, it came to me. Kombucha bottled in a champagne bottle!  And so the Boujee Booch journey began.

Boujee Booch Kombucha

Boujee Booch kombucha is brewed and flavored in oak barrels, then bottled in glass beer and champagne bottles with zero metal exposure. We use organic herbs and flowers along with high-quality nootropic extracts. Our bottles are upcycled, and we encourage returning them whenever possible to reduce waste.

 

Our nootropic brews were created with a vision for people to celebrate and enjoy socializing, feeling a natural buzz without intoxication or the "hangover effect." Of course, I had to think of the kiddos, too! That is where the OG brew comes in so the little ones can enjoy a "beer" or a glass of "champagne" while celebrating right alongside their parents.

 

Our Original Brew is a classic. Good for the gut, golden deliciousness.
